You can use colorful artwork, patterned drapery, flowers and throws. The possibilities are endless. But what about the walls? They are not just dividers between rooms or the supports to hold your house up, they are blank canvases just waiting to be introduced to some creativity and personality.

  1. I love these ideas. My husband and I bought our house about 2 years ago and we’ve slowly been decorating one room at a time. I saw that glitter paint in a picture not too long ago and I’m OBSESSED. I think the only place I can really pull it off will be in our master bathroom but it will be amazing. I look forward to reading more design ideas from you so I can plan out the rest of my rooms.

So glad you got the guide and found it useful! I agree it’s better to spread it out then to do it on one day. That way you can keep up with it. I left Monday off for anyone who works because sometimes you’re more tired coming off the weekend and after work. You can also change the days to make it work better for your schedule. 4. I am a newbie at this. Our house is painted white in every room and I haven’t really known where to start with decorating. I’ve put some artwork upstairs in the bedrooms, but our living areas downstairs are bare. I think a feature wall would be a great idea, but I’m not sure if I’m adventurous enough to try glitter paint. I’ll go and check out your page about colour schemes. Thanks for sharing.
